I like most types of music and in the nineties country music had began changing quite a bit so I found myself watching CMT a lot (Country Music Television). Mark Chestnut released this song in 1992 and it peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot Country chart. This a definitely a fun song to sing and listen to. Definitely one of my favorite Johnny Cash songs. A number of versions were crossover hits all the way back to 1949 by many different artists. Johnny Cash's version was released in 1979 lasting 16 weeks on the Billboard Hot Country chart and peaking at #2. Give a big thumbs up, a comment and subscribe if you are a Johnny Cash fan. 😎

I'm first to admit, I fumbled through the verse lyrics :) But this is one of those classic chorus' that is so fun to sing along with. I think there is an SNL skit where they are all sitting in a bar rambling on about something, but they all stop and sing each chorus together every time it comes on. Classic!

I have always been a fan of the English band, Def lepparrd. Too bad only their ballads are available right now so I guess we'll sing them. Released in 1995, this was one of Def Lapperd's most succesful singles and reached #2 on the UK Singles charts and #58 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was also #6 pn the RPM 100. Feel free to share this or any of my videos and let's get more people on Bee Mee. As usual, kike, comment & subscribe for your Buzz Points. 😎

Requested by Sonny Walkman. Twisted Sister released this song in 1984 and I would guess that most people have sang along to this song. Shockingly, even my mother liked Twisted Sister. The song reached #21 on the Billboard Hot 100, was certified Gold in 2009, ranked 47th on the 100 Greatest Singles of the 80's, #21 on VH1's Greatest One Hit Wonders of the 80's and was the band's biggest hit & only top 40 single. I'm far from being the best one to be singing this song, however, I did love the sitcom "Friends". So sad now that Mathew Perry has passed. "Could this song have BEEN any harder"? Give a thumbs up if you liked the show Friends and for the talent we lost that was Mathew Perry.

I really liked the Beach Boys when I was younger (long before this song) and would ride my bike to the Library where you could get headsets and they would play whatever record you wanted to listen to. I eventually also really liked windsurfing and would go whenever I could. This song came out in 1988, ⁣24 years after their first No. 1. The Beach Boys scored, what is to date, their last U.S. No. 1. The song, β€œKokomo,” which was used in the Tom Cruise movie Cocktail.

This good ol' Toby Keith song was my jam like 20 years ago :) But I'm not sure I've really listened to it in the past 10 years, so I got a little off track at the end of the song. Still had fun though! :)

Another Christmas song by Alan Jackson I've never heard before. Chipmunks DO NOT make the best background singers. My kind of song though as I do have a big red pick up with four wheel drive. Hopefully have a Christmas Playlist of all these weird (and a couple normal) Christmas songs. Until then make sure you "like" & subscribe. Merry Christmas everyone.

Kinda shocked I did this song & can't wait to read your commentslol. Never was one of my favorites but It's amazing how popular it is. Released in 1991, It peaked at #2 on the UK Singles chart for six weeks, hit #1 on charts around the world and was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Billboard Magazine ranked it among the 500 best pop songs of all time. It's crazy how many awards it was nominated for & how high it reached on all sorts of different music charts. Noticed that oldmanchu hasn't been singing much? Find out why by listening to this parody of this song by the Romantics. The actual song was released in 1979 and was a moderate success. It wasn't until the late 80's when the song was licensed for use in TV commercials for ads like Budweiser beer that it became one of the most popular song anthems of all time. It reached #49 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was in the top 10 charts in many different countries. Like, comment & subscribe for your Buzz Points. Released in 2010, this song spent 16 weeks on the Billboard 100 Chart, peaking at #3, their highest ranking song. It was #3 On Mainstream Top 40, #1 on Adult Contemporary & Adult Top 40, #1 in 16 countries and on so many other charts, including the Hot Country Chart, that I don't have enough space to list them all. It was the top selling song on Itunes & 2nd best overall for sales in the US for 2010. It has also won a Grammy, was certified 6X Platinum and has appeared on so many talk shows & other tv shows, movies etc. it is mind boggling. Check them out on Wikipedia for yourself. It's amazing how succesful this song is. Had I known that I wouldn't have disrespected it by singing it with my voice lol. This sitcom was one of my favorites growing up and I wonder how many people remember it. So, WITHOUT PUTTING THE SHOW'S NAME in the comments, leave a comment saying who you're favorite actor was, real name or character name and/or something that you found memorable about the show. Please don't ruin it for others by putting the shows name in the comments. "Up your nose with a rubber hose" my fellow sweathogs! This song was a cover of the original by Tommy James and The Shondells. Billy Idol released it in 1981 and it became an international hit. He released a live version in 1987 and it became an even bigger hit than the Shondells original (which was a huge hit). It took the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and charted all over the world.
