Released by American Glam Metal band, Great White in 1987, this song was a big success and was certified Platinum. It was a cover of a 1975 song by Ian Hunter in which Guns N' Roses', Izzy Stradlin, had the idea for them to do the cover. While playing at The Station Nightclub in Rhode Island things turned tragic when their pyrotechnics started a fire and sadly 100 people were killed, including guitarist, Ty Longley. Their tour manager ended up doing jail time. In the aftermath, The Band tried doing benefit concerts which just made things worse as survivors & families asked the band not to mention it as it opened old wounds when they did. A sad ending for a great band. Like, comment & subscribe for your Buzz points and feel free to share any of my videos and help spread the word how fun the Bee Mee platform is.

Classic tune from Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR). Love hearing "Long as I can see the light" every time it comes on the radio or any playlist.

Good song from the early days of Matchbox Twenty. This one took a real "Push" from the old vocals to try to hit some of those notes. Gave it my best shot and hope you enjoy it!

Nobody panic! I'm not having a stroke in this video. I raised my set up so I can stand and sing and I guess I was grooving a little too fast lol. English-Canadian singer, Nick Gilder, released this song in 1978. It went #1 in Canada & the US Billboard Hot 100 taking a record 21 weeks to reach the top. He had also had a previous #1 with "Roxy Roller" as the lead singer of "Sweeney Todd". He won 2 Juno Awards, a Peoples Choice Award & this song went Platinum. "Dreams" is a song by the British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, written and sung by Stevie Nicks for the band's eleventh studio album, Rumours (1977). In the United States, "Dreams" was released as the second single from Rumours in March 1977, while in the United Kingdom, the song was released as the third single in June 1977. A stage performance of "Dreams" was used as the promotional music video. If you feel so inclined, please subscribe like and share for those Bee Mee points! 🐝🐝

I listened to a lot of Counting Crows growing up. Great band! Didn't know this one as well as I thought, so it got a bit away from me at the end. But it's a fun song for sure!

Haven't sang a slower song for awhile so here it is. Released in 2006, singer Chad Kroeger said it is the only love song Nickelback has. Others are "about love" but not solely about being in love.It was their 4th song on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #8. Being that I was a Wildland Firefighter, the video pulls at my heart strings as it's about a forest fire fighter being called out to a fire. I loved that job! This song ranked high on charts around the world. Like, comment & subscribe for your Buzz Points. Heard the Nickelback cover during one of the playoff hockey games and was glad it was in the song library. So this is an Elton John/Nickelback hybrid lol. Elton John released this song in 1973 & Nickelback released their cover (with Dimebag Darell & Kidd Rock) in 2003. Elton Jon & Nickelback have both had unbelievable careers so check them out if you want more info. The song just abruptly ends for some reason. Released in 1990 by Glam Metal Band, Warrant, this song was #10 on the Billboard 100 chart and #19 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. This song was inspired by Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar on Me". The band was not happy that this song was such a hit as it overshadowed most of their other songs which were better in their view partly because of it's heavy airplay on MTV. It was ranked #3 by the "Classic Rock" publication as #3 on their list of the Top 10 "Best Hair Metal Videos". 😎

This was tough! Also experimenting with my mic so that the AI picked up my lip movements. Whew, lots of redos. Released in 1998, this was the best performing track for the New Radicals from their only studio album. It was #36 on the Billboard Hot 100, #8 on the Modern Rock charts and top 10 charts in many countries. ⁣"Rhiannon" (released as a single under the title "Rhiannon (Will You Ever Win)") is a song written by Stevie Nicks and originally recorded by the British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac on their eponymous album in 1975. When Nicks performed the song live, she often introduced it by saying "This is a song about an old Welsh witch."[6] During 1975–1982, Fleetwood Mac's live performances of "Rhiannon" took on a theatrical intensity not present on the FM-radio single. You Oughta Know" is a song by Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette, released as the lead single from her third studio album, Jagged Little Pill (1995). Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know" may be considered one of most heated break-up songs of all time, but there's no bad blood between the writer and its long-rumored subject, Dave Coulier.Morissette, for her part, Alanis Morissete has been tight-lipped about the song's inspiration, saying on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in 2019, that there would be "no revealing" just who broke her heart." If there is a single moment that is most widely known in the canon of Elton live performances, this may well be it! Elton appearing as Donald Duck during his Central Park performance on September 13th 1980 in New York. After struggling to get the Bob Mackie costume on backstage, Elton sits down on his piano bench for the first time in the outfit and lets out a laugh as he realizes the padding won't allow him to stay on the bench or easily work the foot pedals. LITTLE KNOWN FACT: Elton got hit in the face with an empty wine bottle, thrown by an enebriated fan. Later, he said, "It was my own fault really. Someone tried to warn me, but I ignored it: 'Duck!' they yelled" Ultimately, he continued performing like a champ and it didn't stop him from turning out a memorable rendition of "Your Song".

I used to listen to this song on Yacht Rock radio.
"Sailing" is a 1979 soft rock song written and recorded by American artist Christopher Cross.
Cross has said in interviews that the song's inspiration was his friendship with an older friend from his high school, Al Glasscock, who would take him sailing as a teenager, just to get away from the trials and tribulations of being a teenager.
Glasscock functioned as a surrogate older brother during a tough time for Cross emotionally. Although Cross lost touch with Glasscock, The Howard Stern Show in April 1995 reunited the two after 28 years. Cross acknowledged on the show that his sailing trips with Glasscock had been the inspiration for the song. After that reunion, Cross sent Glasscock a copy of the platinum record he earned for selling more than five million copies of "Sailing."
