I first heard this song when it was sung by the Dave Matthews Band. It's just a good old story telling tune!

One of the all time great tunes from Elton John. Definitely outside of my typical vocal range, but it was fun giving it a shot! There's not much better than the scene from the movie "Almost Famous" where the band, along with Penny Lane and the kid journalist, sing this tune on the bus! Good times!
