There is a very special virtual gift for everyone who has liked and commented on my videos. SO MAKE SURE YOU LISTEN UNTIL THE END. I haven't sang much R&B and wanted to try a song but I may have pushed my limits too far. Naturally, I went back to the 80's and did a song I absolutely loved. Super Freak by Rick James (RIP). Rolling Stone Magazine included it in it's list of the 500 Greatest Hits of All Time. Hope I don't ruin the song for anyone and thanks again to everyone who liked my videos. Don't forget to Subscribe....who knows what treat I come up with next. 😎

For all you fans of the seventies The Who needs no explanation. For the rest of you they were one of the biggest bands of their time. This song came out in 1975 and was in the top 10 for the UK Singles chart and as high as #1 on other charts. It was #16 on the Billboard Hot 100. The lyrics are heavy in sexual double entendres and was originally recorded for a Who television special where the band were to be surrounded by 100 topless women playing the accordian (aka squeezebox). If that doesn't deserve a like, comment and subscribe...I don't know what does. 😎

So much to say about this song that I was unaware of despite it being the ring tone on my cellphone when I was a forest fire fighter. Lots of info to share so please keep reading but first, make sure you like, comment and subscribe to get your Buzz Points and feel free to share this and any of my videos...let's get more people on Bee Mee. Also, thanks to Cara for putting out the "Music Days" calendar on the AIM Discord. Everyone have a look for some ideas for your next songs. Now, about this song. Smoke on The Water was released in 1972 and is actually based on a true event, the fire at the Montreux Casino in Switzerland. Guitarist, Richie Blackmore was one of the pioneers that made the guitar riffs harder and the solos more ambitious with Deep Purple. Aside from being in the Grammy Hall of Fame, Smoke on the water was also included in Rolling Stone Magazine's Top 500 Greatest Songs of All Time, it was #4 in Total Guitars Magazine's Greatest Guitar Riffs, #12 on Q Magazine's Greatest Guitar tracks and more. In 2017 the song was inducted in to the Grammy Hall of Fame. My apologies as I accidenttally ended the video just before the music stopped. 😎

Not sure why I try these songs with vocal skills but hey, it's all about the fun right? I do like Maroon 5's music. This song was released in 2004 on their debut album based on Adam Levine's break-up with an ex-girlfriend. It was in the top 10 on several charts and was #1 on many of Bilboard's charts. They won the MTV Video award for Best New Artisit and the live version won at the 2006 Grammy's. Feel free to share this or any of my videos & let's get more people having fun on BEE MEE. No long write up, we all know the song. It doesn't even matter if you like or comment on this song. Just a simple favor to ask. Share this song with a few people and ask them to do the same. The world is too occupied with wars, politics, hate, judgement, inequality, repression, fear and I could go on. This world needs a reminder that things could really be as easy as this song. Everyone on this earth deserves better! ❤✌😢🙏

I think most of us have noticed the Karaoke version of a song can be different from the original. This one is very different to at the end of the song. It's so different I could only guess how to do it. The backgound vocals make it sound way different but this is a great song so had to try. It was released in 1995 and despite it being R&B/Soul it reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Charts. Don't forget to like, comment & subscribe for your Buzz Points. In fact it was released in 1966 by Blues/Soul/R&B group, The Spencer Davis group which was in top 10 charts in several countries & was #18 on Billboard 100. So I thought the version of Little Drummer Boy I did was bizarre this Christmas song fro⁣m Bob Seger & The Last Heard definitely wins hands down in the "Christmas Songs I've Never Heard" category and was also unbelievably tough to sing. You have to listen to this song first released in November 1966. Working hard for those likes and some more subscribers so don't be shy....it's Christmas (I think). 😎

This song by, Robert Palmer (RIP), debuted in 1979 and was a big hit throughout the eighties. It reached #14 on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as reaching the top 10 on several other international charts. Who doesn't remember the female backup singers all dressed in black with pulled back hair in the video for another of his hits, Simply Irresistble, which was constantly played on MTV and Much Music. I LOVED the 80's. Feel free to share this or any of my videos and let's get more people singing on Bee Mee😎

Good lord. Is every band in the Billboard top 100? I knew CCR (Creedence Clearwater Revival for you youngin's) were legendary in their time. They were also pioneers of "Swamp Rock" and "County Rock". Didn't expect that they would have hit as high as #3 and that the flip side of the single, "Fortunate Son", hit #14 so I'm going to HAVE to put them in the top 100 category. This song was also in the top 10 on charts all over the world. This song came out in late 1969 and they do play great music! Help grow the Bee Mee community. Feel free to share this or any of my videos. 😎
