This song was a cover of the original by Tommy James and The Shondells. Billy Idol released it in 1981 and it became an international hit. He released a live version in 1987 and it became an even bigger hit than the Shondells original (which was a huge hit). It took the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and charted all over the world. This is one of those classic country songs from Kenny Rogers. It's got a great groove, but I'm not sure it's a song that would be put out these days. But in the late 70's, it had a vibe.

Good ol' Willie Nelson song. I really liked the version he did on the Waylon & Willie album.

For a band I didn't know before signing up with Bee Mee, I sure seem to like their songs. This one is so much easier than the other ones I have sang (check them out). Released in 2017, this song peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was in the top 10 on over 30 charts around the world. It was also nominated for a Grammy Award. This was a fun song from back in the early 90's by Sawyer Brown, who in my opinion is a very underrated country band from that era. I've always liked their tunes!

Hard/Rock, Glam Metal band Poison released this song in 1988. It reached #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #19 on the Mainstream rock charts. It is regarded as one of Poison's best songs and in 2017 Billboard ranked the song #9 and OC Weekly at #4. Steve Huey of Altmusic stated that this was Poison's most recognized song and solidified them as hair metal's top party band. Kind of a short version of the original song. This song was released in 1968 as the lead single for the album "The Second". Peaking at #3 in the US charts for 16 weeks it was the longest for any Steppenwolf song. It was #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, #2 on the Cash Box Top 100, #1 on the RPM Top Singles and was an international hit. Make sure you like, comment &subscribe for your Buzz Points. Post-grundge, hard rock, alt rock, Canadian band released this "power ballad" in 2001. One of the producers was Nickelback lead singer, Chad Kroeger. Their most commercially succesful song, it hit #13 on the Billboard Hot 100, #2 on the Mainstream Rock chart, #3 on the Modern Rock Play chart and was one of three singles to top the Canadian Rock Play chart. I think this may be one of the first couple Dierks Bentley songs I heard in the early days. I've seen him in concert a couple times, and he and his band put on a great live show.

I think this tune first appeared on Alan Jackson's album - Under the Influence, which was a collection of songs he loved that were written by other artists. I believe this one was written by Don Williams.

An early Tim McGraw song and still one of my favorites. Released in 1994, it was his breakthrough song and first top 40. It peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart, #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified Platinum. Some critics have considered it a controversial song due to it's stereotypical portrayal of Native Americans and some radio stations refused to play it. I just really like the song. A dance remix of the single was released in 2010. Like, comment & subscribe for your Buzz Points & feel free to share any of my videos. Let's get more people having fun on Bee Mee. 😎

I've been a big Pearl Jam fan for a long time. This song, "I am mine", was on their Riot Act album. Was lucky enough to see them live very recently and they're still putting on an amazing show!
