I used to listen to this song on Yacht Rock radio.
"Sailing" is a 1979 soft rock song written and recorded by American artist Christopher Cross.
Cross has said in interviews that the song's inspiration was his friendship with an older friend from his high school, Al Glasscock, who would take him sailing as a teenager, just to get away from the trials and tribulations of being a teenager.
Glasscock functioned as a surrogate older brother during a tough time for Cross emotionally. Although Cross lost touch with Glasscock, The Howard Stern Show in April 1995 reunited the two after 28 years. Cross acknowledged on the show that his sailing trips with Glasscock had been the inspiration for the song. After that reunion, Cross sent Glasscock a copy of the platinum record he earned for selling more than five million copies of "Sailing."

This is just a fun song to listen to and sing along. Released in 1958 I have no idea how I know it. Wikipedia refers to it as a "Novelty Rock Song" but ended up on so many other genre charts like the US Pop Singles-#3, R&B Best Sellers-2, C&W best sellers-#14. So grab your luffa, join the party and come splish splash. Make sure you get your Buzz Points and like, comment and subscribe. 😎

Definitely one of my favorite Johnny Cash songs. A number of versions were crossover hits all the way back to 1949 by many different artists. Johnny Cash's version was released in 1979 lasting 16 weeks on the Billboard Hot Country chart and peaking at #2. Give a big thumbs up, a comment and subscribe if you are a Johnny Cash fan. 😎

⁣"Rhiannon" (released as a single under the title "Rhiannon (Will You Ever Win)") is a song written by Stevie Nicks and originally recorded by the British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac on their eponymous album in 1975. When Nicks performed the song live, she often introduced it by saying "This is a song about an old Welsh witch."[6] During 1975–1982, Fleetwood Mac's live performances of "Rhiannon" took on a theatrical intensity not present on the FM-radio single. Alrighty then...this was tough and I seem to be having trouble adjusting my volumes so please let me know (be honest). Would rather re-do it now & not later. Released in 2003, it was the 8th #1 hit on the Modern Rock Tracks chart for the Chilli Peppers and stayed there for 3 weeks. It also ranked #57 on the Billboard Hot 100 and did well on other charts around the world. Here's my take on CCR version of Proud Mary. I went low with it :) I'm sure somebody on here has that awesome higher range that John Fogerty can hit! Really looking forward to hearing some people give the Tina Turner version a go! Cheers

⁣"Happy Trails" is a song by Roy Rogers and his wife Dale Evans, known as the theme song for the 1940s and 1950s radio program and the 1950s television show in which they starred. It was written by Evans and always sung by the duo over the end credits of those programs.
The song was released in 1952 as a 78 RPM and 45 RPM by Rogers and Evans with the Whippoorwills and Orchestra, on RCA Victor Records. It was re-issued in 1957 as a 45 RPM record on RCA Victor/Bluebird. Members of the Western Writers of America chose it as one of the Top 100 Western songs of all time!

This "power ballad" was released by 3 Doors Down in 2003 and it reached #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was in the top ten charts all over the world and was certified double platinum in the USA for selling over 2 million copies. I just think it is a great song by a great band. OMG this is hands down one of the MOST FUN songs I have ever sang. Never heard this song before, practiced it a few times and this was the first take. I NEED YOUR HELP as I can't decide if I should try again. It was absolutely insane changing dances, working the cameras and singing this for the first time that I'm thinking it won't get much better than this. PLEASE let me know if I should try again by leaving me a comment, good or bad. This song was released in 2009 and became Dierks seventh #1 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. Really can't believe I have never heard this song until now. Again, PLEASE like, subscribe and leave me a comment whether or not I should take another go at it. 😎
