OMG this is hands down one of the MOST FUN songs I have ever sang. Never heard this song before, practiced it a few times and this was the first take. I NEED YOUR HELP as I can't decide if I should try again. It was absolutely insane changing dances, working the cameras and singing this for the first time that I'm thinking it won't get much better than this. PLEASE let me know if I should try again by leaving me a comment, good or bad. This song was released in 2009 and became Dierks seventh #1 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. For a simple song I had a tough time adjusting things so that you could hear the background comments. I also have never had to adjust the sync this much so my apologies if the vocals are too loud. I guess in a 10,000 song library you are going to find a few that pose some challenges. So, we were challenged to have a little contest to sing Proud Mary before Thursday's AMA. We had a choice of doing the CCR or Ike & Tina Turner version. Well, for me, I considered a third version......the Skee Version. Did this for fun so have fun as I could only do one take and destroyed my vocal chords so no re-do's.
