"Make It with You" is a song written by David Gates and originally recorded by American pop-rock group Bread, of which Gates was a member. Gates and drummer Mike Botts are the only members of the group to appear on the recording,[3] which was Bread's only No.1 hit on the BillboardHot 100 chart in 1970.

"Here You Come Again" is a song written by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, and recorded by American entertainer Dolly Parton. It was released as a single in September 1977 as the title track from Parton's album of the same name, topped the U.S. country singles chart for five weeks, and won the 1978 Grammy award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance; it also reached number three on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, representing Parton's first significant pop crossover hit.
Dolly has always been fabulous and is still performing songs til this day at 78 years old! Despite some errors with the words, and the volume, I hope you like, comment, and subscribe to get those Buzz points!😅
When Denver was camping at Williams Lake near Aspen, far from any city lights, he saw the Perseid meteor shower. That inspired him to collaborate with guitarist Mike Taylor in 1972 to pen "Rocky Mountain High."
Despite the widespread interpretation of the lyric "Friends around the campfire and everybody's high" as a reference to drug use, Denver insisted that the song was actually about experiencing the euphoria of nature.
Despite the controversy, It's such a great song! If you feel so inclined, please like and subscribe!

On September 20, 1973, at the height of his popularity and the day before the lead single to his fifth album "I Got a Name " was released, Croce and five others died in a plane crash. His music continued to chart throughout the 1970s following his death. Croce's wife and early songwriting partner Ingrid, continued to write and record after his death, and their son A. J. Croce, became a singer-songwriter in the 1990s.
Paul McCartney talked about the origin of “Eleanor Rigby” in an interview with GQ in 2018, “When I was really little I lived on what was called a housing estate, which is like the projects – there were a lot of old ladies and I enjoyed sitting around with these older ladies because they had these great stories, in this case about World War II. One, in particular, I used to visit and I’d go shopping for her – you know, she couldn’t get out. So I had that figure in my mind of a sort of lonely old lady." please subscribe, like, and comment for those. BeeMee points! 🙌🏼🐝🐝🐝
It was like writing a short story, and it was basically on these old ladies that I had known as a kid.
"Time in a Bottle" is a song by singer sonwriter, Jim Croce. He wrote the lyrics after his wife Ingrid told him she was pregnant in December 1970. Always a favorite song of mine...
"Baa, Baa, Black Sheep" is an Enlgish nursery rhyme, the earliest printed version of which dates from around 1744. The costume dates back to about 2023!😂😊
The song is believed to originate when women working in fields used to take their babies along to work and tie their cradles to the branches of the trees so that the wind could rock them to sleep.
In loving memory of my late husband, "Bubba"...👩🏻❤️👨🏻
This song was recorded in 1976 by the Moments as WE DON"T CRY OUT LOUD under the stewardship of the great Sylvia Robinson. Melissa Manchester imagined doing this song in a similarly sleepy style and was "surprised by the bombastic arrangement " awaiting her in the studio.
I added the the tats with "CryBaby" to my avatar for posterity!😂
John Lennon himself believed that Hey Jude was directed at him, seeing it as a message from McCartney to embrace his relationship with Yoko Ono. Lennon even pointed to specific lines in the song, such as “You were made to go out and get her,” as evidence of McCartney's support for his new love interest.
This was my father's favorite song. It was always crystal clear he was singing it with my mother in mind. Miss you daddy...😌
Michael Jackson's single, recorded for the Motown label in 1972, spent one week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, making it Jackson's first number one single in the US as a solo artist. Billboard ranked it as the number 20 song for 1972.
The sound wouldn't play for quite a while trying to record some songs. I tried this one and fired it out without any practice in one shot before the sound went out again!😬
Five Finger Death Punch. Hopefully sounds better then my Wash It Away performance
Lots of cool info about this song so keep reading. Guitarist, Canadian artist, Tom Cochrane, wrote the song over concern for the resurgence of anti-semitism in the 1970's. He recorded the first demo on the evening of John Lennon's murder (RIP). The single was released in 1981 despite advice from the record label that it wasn't commercial enough. It reached #11 on the rock radio airplay chart in Billboard and won a SOCAN Classic Award (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) in 2009. It was re-recorded in 1997 and was #1 for 4 weeks on the RPM Top 100 Chart. The song has been used in several movies and TV shows such as Miami Vice. There is so much more that I could write but check it out on Wikipedia if you want more info. Make sure you like, comment & subscribe for your Buzz Points. Guess I know why I kept both my old pickup trucks now lol. This song came out in 1994 and was Joe Diffie's longest lasting number one hit spending 4 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country charts. It was in the top 10 on several other charts. Like, comment & subscribe for those super valuable Buzz Points and feel free to share this or any of my videos so we grow the Bee Mee community. 😎
Well, I went down the rabbit hole in search of an R&B song to sing and came up with this little gem. Released in 1970 it was allegedly the fastest selling single for Warner Bros. at that time. It peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100. The group never had another hit leaving them one hit wonders. The lead singer did go on to found the rock group, Survivor. I'm sure like a few people, I had to recreate my avatars. I was satisfied with the performace and the coordinating of the dance, camera work and my singing. After all that, there was no recording of my vocals! I find such difficulty in finding the time to produce these that I decided to release the video despite the obvious lack of vocals! I will be producing a rplacement soon!😬
"Ships" was sung by Barry Manilow & written by Ian Hunter.
Hunter & his father often butted heads while he was growing up & it wasn't until he was older that he started to see things from his dad's perspective. So "Ships" was a coming to terms with, & an appreciation of Ian's dad, Walter Patterson. Ian's father died 18 months after the song was released & he said goodbye on Blackpool beach where they had watched "the dogs play around on the sand" (in earlier years).
Another Childrens Favorite! The Nursery rhyme remains one of the most favorite in the world. Remember folks, patience is a virtue!😊
When your lacking in the talent, you do what you can do! 😁
Another Kenny Rogers song! Tried to rush it out before someone got home. Most of you will need to have a whiskey & a smoke by the time this song is through!
I love Kenny Rogers! I could't do justice to his song but I apprecite you taking the time to listen!😏
Playing around here. I'm no lyricist, so this is mosltly satire, hoping you listen to this with a grain of salt!
This one is for all you head bangers. Let me know if my voice is too loud. This was the opening track for the multi-platinum album "Emotions in Motion" released in 1982. It reached #32 on the Billboard Hot 100 and held the top spot of Mainstream Rock Charts for six weeks straight. It remained in heavy rotation for months on MTV. Came to dislike this song as it was overplayed too much and I found it just as annoying to try and sing lol. It was released in 1999 and was Grammy nominated for the Best Pop Performance by a Duo/Group. It was also ranked as one of the best songs in 1999. It was in the top 10 for the Billboard 100 and charts all over the world. It was one of the most streamed songs from 2017 to 2021.Feel free to share this or any of my videos and let's get more people on Bee Mee. Like, comment & subscribe for your Buzz Points. 😎

I think most of us have noticed the Karaoke version of a song can be different from the original. This one is very different to at the end of the song. It's so different I could only guess how to do it. The backgound vocals make it sound way different but this is a great song so had to try. It was released in 1995 and despite it being R&B/Soul it reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Charts. Don't forget to like, comment & subscribe for your Buzz Points. Not sure why I was so determined to sing this catchy but diffcult song but am happy to scratch it off my list. The song was released by my fellow Canadian in 2012 and it was #1 on the Candian Hot 100, Mainstream Top 40 Chart and charts in over 20 countries around the world. Definitely a classic song that I'm guessing everyone has heard. It was released in 1964 and was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks. Billboard also ranked it as the #4 song for 1964. It was certified "Gold" in 2 months. It was also used in the movie "Pretty Woman" with Julia Roberts & Richard Gere. Feel free to share this or any of my videos and help grow the Bee Mee platform. If you like pure Classic Rock then this band's signature song is for you. No keyboards, backgound vocals, electronic wizardy, just pure head banging rock & roll. Released in 1986, this song peaked at #10 on The Billboard Hot 100 and #4 for Mainstream Rock and is in the VH1's Greastest One Hit Wonders for the 80's. It was also used in a lot of movies & TV shows. Feel free to share this or any of my videos and let's grow the Bee Mee community. A classic and timeless song from Bob Dylan
I always thought this was a beautiful Brad Paisley country song. I saw Brad Paisley at a small county fair when he was just getting started, and he made his entrance by riding a horse up to the stage. I thought it was a pretty cool and memorable moment.
One of my fav Kenny Chesney tunes
