It was released in 2010, reached #16 on the Billboard 100, #9 on Mainstream top 40, #30 on the Adult Top 40 and charted well on several other charts in several countries. Released in 1990 by Glam Metal Band, Warrant, this song was #10 on the Billboard 100 chart and #19 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. This song was inspired by Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar on Me". The band was not happy that this song was such a hit as it overshadowed most of their other songs which were better in their view partly because of it's heavy airplay on MTV. It was ranked #3 by the "Classic Rock" publication as #3 on their list of the Top 10 "Best Hair Metal Videos". 😎

Not an easy song to sing but love the classic rock music so I sang it anyway. I believe @Tappet2 was the first to sing it on Bee Mee.There are several versions of this song, going as far back as 1933 (maybe earlier) when it was used as a work song but it is most associated with Ram Jam. News broke this morning of the passing of a young member of our community. I knew him well and it has stirred up many emotions for me. I dedicate this somg to him, to another old friend Dave D. and to my father. Folks always remember to say "I love you" as often as possible.
