Took another shot at the same song I'd done before, after they made us aware of some sound quality improvements in beta testing. Sang through same laptop, but I just took their advice and turned down the volume output so the laptop mic wasn't picking up too much of the music when recording vocals. Just figured it might be a good idea to have a before and after for comparison. Cheers!
Always wanted to be in a boy band LOL. This song was released in 2015. It debuted at the top of the charts in multiple countries, was top 10 in over 30 countries and #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was certified 5X Platinum and was in the top 100 year end charts of over 14 countries. It won, "Best Video Award" at the 2016 Brit Awards. Jamieson Cox of The Verge compared the song to Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were In Trouble". One of the great Waylon Jennings songs, and it's awesome that Willie Nelson makes an appearance on this one too.
Released in 1975, this song is B.O.C.'s highest chart success. It reached #7 on Cash Box, #12 on Billboard Hot 100 & lasting 20 weeks on the chart. It was certified platinum and appears on multiple top 500 Classic Rock Songs of All Time as high as #36. Rolling Stone named it song of the year. The song was memorialized in 2000 when Saturday Night Live did a hilarious sketch "more cowbell". So much more could be said so check it out for yourself. There is a very special virtual gift for everyone who has liked and commented on my videos. SO MAKE SURE YOU LISTEN UNTIL THE END. I haven't sang much R&B and wanted to try a song but I may have pushed my limits too far. Naturally, I went back to the 80's and did a song I absolutely loved. Super Freak by Rick James (RIP). Rolling Stone Magazine included it in it's list of the 500 Greatest Hits of All Time. Hope I don't ruin the song for anyone and thanks again to everyone who liked my videos. Love Will Keep Us Together" is a song written by Neil Sedaka and Howard Greenfield. It was first recorded by Sedaka in 1973. The brother-sister duo Mac and Katie Kissoon also recorded a version in 1973. American pop duo Captain & Tennille covered it in 1975, with instrumental backing almost entirely by “Captain” Daryl Dragon, with the exception of drums played by Hal Blaine; their version became a worldwide hit. This is the one I enjoyed the most so far! Thank YOU ALL !!!!
This song represents exactly what the 80's was like. Every school dance and every bar played this song. In addition to great 80's music there was always a fight or two at some point. However, there were no knives, no guns, no kicking a guy repeatedly when he was down or going and rounding up your buddies if you lost. If a guy said he gives, you stopped, helped him up and went and had a beer together. The song was released in 1981 by Rockabilly group, the Stray Cats. It peaked at #9 on the both the singles charts and the Billboard Hot 100. It was also listed by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as one of the 500 songs that shaped Rock & Roll. No long write up, we all know the song. It doesn't even matter if you like or comment on this song. Just a simple favor to ask. Share this song with a few people and ask them to do the same. The world is too occupied with wars, politics, hate, judgement, inequality, repression, fear and I could go on. This world needs a reminder that things could really be as easy as this song. Everyone on this earth deserves better! ❤✌😢🙏
