“Daydream Believer” by The Monkees narrates the tale of a man who once lived in a cheerful, idealistic world but is now confronting the harsh realities of life.
Released in 1990 by Glam Metal Band, Warrant, this song was #10 on the Billboard 100 chart and #19 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. This song was inspired by Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar on Me". The band was not happy that this song was such a hit as it overshadowed most of their other songs which were better in their view partly because of it's heavy airplay on MTV. It was ranked #3 by the "Classic Rock" publication as #3 on their list of the Top 10 "Best Hair Metal Videos". 😎
Took another shot at the same song I'd done before, after they made us aware of some sound quality improvements in beta testing. Sang through same laptop, but I just took their advice and turned down the volume output so the laptop mic wasn't picking up too much of the music when recording vocals. Just figured it might be a good idea to have a before and after for comparison. Cheers!

Have always been a Vice Gill fan and he really has a unique voice for country music. This song was released in 1993 and it reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Chart and stayed on the chart for 20 weeks. The video has a cameo of country legend, George Jones, on a John Deere riding mower echoing Jones' life when he would ride the mower for beer runs because his wife wouldn't let him drive. Can't say I have heard of Mike Posner or song or why I picked this song after being away from Bee Mee for so long but it is a catchy tune. It was released in 2010, reached #16 on the Billboard 100, #9 on Mainstream top 40, #30 on the Adult Top 40 and charted well on several other charts in several countries.
