I wish the real world would just stop hassling me!
This classic Tom Petty song has always had such a great groove!
I've always loved this great Road trippin tune!
Definitely an emotional song for me as I thought of several lost friends while practicing it. The Fray released this song in 2006 and it peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, the seventh longest charting single at 58 consecutive weeks. It was certified five times platinum and as of 2015 was the fourth best selling rock song in digital music history. It was also Grammy nominated for best Rock Song for a duo or group. This song is dedicated to all troubled friends past, present and future. Like, comment and subscribe. π

First, Happy Birthday to Harry Styles and second a big shout out to Cara for creating that music schedule for this month. What a great way to torture us....err, I mean expose us to new music and to encourage us to push our singing skills. I have never heard of Harry or listened to this song before and can definitely not sing like him. I picked this song because after a decade of being a forest fire fighter, I have, could and would "walk through fire". Listen and you will understand lol. Hope you like it and don't forget to like, comment and subscribe. π Not sure what category to put this in as according to Wikipedia it is funk, disco, rock ballad, psychedelic pop and more. It also was #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and in the top ten on charts all over the world. I think I will just put in "Other" and let the listener decide.
Here is another fun Classic Rock-Folk song by Jim Croce (RIP) so take a trip back to 8-track days and sing along. This song was released in 1973 which spent 2 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was ranked the #2 song of the year. Jim had a lot of great songs but this was his only #1 single and was nominated for two Grammy Awards. I lost my voice briefly a couple times recording this so I guess the mic is getting turned off for the night. Sing along, have fun and don't forget to like, comment and subscribe. π

Grew up listening to lots of Ben Harper. Happy to find this one on here, and hope there are more of his tunes on this platform one day.
Super happy to find a Stone Temple Pilots song on here.
Can't really say that I'm a Jonas Brothers fan but I was a "sucker" for this song after I first heard it. The song was released in 2019 and It is the brothers biggest hit to date.It reached #1 on charts all over the world. It was nominated for a Grammy for best Pop Duo/Group and in four different categories for the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards and won for Best Pop Video. Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe. π

For all you fans of the seventies The Who needs no explanation. For the rest of you they were one of the biggest bands of their time. This song came out in 1975 and was in the top 10 for the UK Singles chart and as high as #1 on other charts. It was #16 on the Billboard Hot 100. The lyrics are heavy in sexual double entendres and was originally recorded for a Who television special where the band were to be surrounded by 100 topless women playing the accordian (aka squeezebox). If that doesn't deserve a like, comment and subscribe...I don't know what does. π
Maybe a bit high!
