I have been practicing this song for a couple hours a day for what seems like forever and this is as best as it gets from me. No respectable country singer would do this cover as it is considered the worst song of all time by some but this song by Billy Ray Cyrus was the first song to go triple platinum in Australia. Released in 1992 it also became a crossover hit in the USA reaching #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Hot Country charts & top ten on charts around the world. Need a bit of help on this one. Was happy with my first attempt except the sound seemed off and after 10+ more attempts it still doesn't sound right to me. I know I could have hired better back up singers but still doesn't sound right so let me know. Big & Rich released this song in 2004. What a great way to torture us....err, I mean expose us to new music and to encourage us to push our singing skills. I have never heard of Harry or listened to this song before and can definitely not sing like him. I picked this song because after a decade of being a forest fire fighter, I have, could and would "walk through fire". Listen and you will understand lol. Here is another fun Classic Rock-Folk song by Jim Croce (RIP) so take a trip back to 8-track days and sing along. Jim had a lot of great songs but this was his only #1 single and was nominated for two Grammy Awards.
