A hauntingly beautiful song from Counting Crows, from their album - August and Everything After. I grew up listening to a lot of their music.

🤘👽🤘
This Indie, Pop-rock song was released in 1999 and was a hit follow-up to the band's international hit "All Star" (which I have also sang). It peaked at #11 on the US Billboard 100, #2 on both the US Adult Pop Airplay chart & Canada Top Singles charts, #3 on the US Adult Top 40 Year End chart, #12 on US Adult Alternative chart and #5 on the US Pop Airplay chart. It definitely is a fun, upbeat song to listen to. Make sure you like, comment & subscribe for those valuable Buzz Points. I sing Heartbreak Hotel
A pretty old tune from Tim McGraw - Just to see you smile
Michael Jackson's single, recorded for the Motown label in 1972, spent one week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, making it Jackson's first number one single in the US as a solo artist. Billboard ranked it as the number 20 song for 1972.
The sound wouldn't play for quite a while trying to record some songs. I tried this one and fired it out without any practice in one shot before the sound went out again!😬
In loving memory of my late husband, "Bubba"...👩🏻❤️👨🏻
The song is believed to originate when women working in fields used to take their babies along to work and tie their cradles to the branches of the trees so that the wind could rock them to sleep.
I used to listen to this song on Yacht Rock radio.
"Sailing" is a 1979 soft rock song written and recorded by American artist Christopher Cross.
Cross has said in interviews that the song's inspiration was his friendship with an older friend from his high school, Al Glasscock, who would take him sailing as a teenager, just to get away from the trials and tribulations of being a teenager.
Glasscock functioned as a surrogate older brother during a tough time for Cross emotionally. Although Cross lost touch with Glasscock, The Howard Stern Show in April 1995 reunited the two after 28 years. Cross acknowledged on the show that his sailing trips with Glasscock had been the inspiration for the song. After that reunion, Cross sent Glasscock a copy of the platinum record he earned for selling more than five million copies of "Sailing."

I always enjoyed this tune from Tim McGraw. I actually went to his live show last night, so my voice is a little hoarse :) He played a heck of a show and lots of the hits!

Mick Jagger contributed uncredited backing vocals for the song. When asked how this collaboration occurred, Simon said:
He happened to call at the studio. … I said "We're doing some backup vocals on a song of mine, why don't you come down and sing with us?"

Just a good ol' southern rock / country tune by Marshall Tucker Band
Didn't know this one as well as I thought, but it sure is a recognizable chorus from the great George Strait!
This was a fun song from back in the early 90's by Sawyer Brown, who in my opinion is a very underrated country band from that era. I've always liked their tunes!

Classic Tom Petty tune! This one pushed my voice to the limit!! LOL! Outside of my range for sure, but Tom Petty is so awesome, I had to give it a shot!
Bit out of practice & short on lung capacity thanks to a round with bronchitis but the show must go on ha ha ha. Released in 2003, this song was very popular. It ranked #22 on the Billboard Hot 100, Toby Keith's highest ranking song at the time & it peaked at #1 on Billboard Hot Country charts for six weeks. It was Toby Keith's 11th #1 single, Willie Nelson's 23rd and was certified platinum. Being the 80th anniversary of D-Day, I dedicate this song to all those around the world, throughout human history that have fought for freedom, justice & democracy. In this video we will provide tips and tricks to improve your recordings by eliminating echo, utilizing microphone gain, turning off a sudden permenat drop in microphone volume and choppy background music.
Lots of dancing and camera work in this one. It was definitely harder than I thought it would be. I think that deserves a thumbs up like and a subscribe OR do it to take all those extra Buzz points for yourself.
I have never been good at singing this song but I always give it a try because it is such a beautiful song. I tried several different song versions and had to adjust both my input and output volume many, many times. I think this was around my 12th attempt before I finally got the sound settings relatively decent so this is as good as it's gonna get from me. I
would appreciate a "like" despite it's imperfections and hope everyone is enjoying the holidays. ✌❤
This beautiful ballad was one of those songs that is so suited to Karen Carpenters poignant, plaintive and vocal style.
Rockabilly song by the Everly Brothers. One of the most important and influential groups in the history of rock and roll, the Everly Brothers burst onto the music scene in 1957 with their first big hit, "Bye Bye Love," which was quickly followed with their first #1 song, "Wake Up Little Susie," which topped the Billboard pop chart on October 14, 1957. Gotta "Like" an easy sing along song on a Sunday.

RIP Toby Keith. Saw the news that he passed away today. This is one of his early hits, but his song catalog is full of great songs that I've been enjoying for 25+ years now. I'm sure I'll be back to sing another one of his classic country tunes in the near future.
Dance 😂
Classic tune from the Box Tops. Then later covered by Joe Cocker I believe. This is a fun and short tune that packs a punch :)
Try my best ! some words just don't get over my lips :D

Here's another classic Jim Croce song that I've always enjoyed.
This classic Tom Petty song has always had such a great groove!
Classic tune from The Band. It's a long one. I forgot how many verses there are, and then realized there's a bunch of yodeling at the end of this one :) I gave it my best shot!
Prologue to Beauty and the Beast...
Flock Of Seagulls. Top 80's Hit
Alabama
Great old Bruce Springsteen tune. Not sure if you can hear the train rolling in the background, but I thought it added a little something to this one :)
"Time in a Bottle" is a song by singer sonwriter, Jim Croce. He wrote the lyrics after his wife Ingrid told him she was pregnant in December 1970. Always a favorite song of mine...
If there is a single moment that is most widely known in the canon of Elton live performances, this may well be it! Elton appearing as Donald Duck during his Central Park performance on September 13th 1980 in New York. After struggling to get the Bob Mackie costume on backstage, Elton sits down on his piano bench for the first time in the outfit and lets out a laugh as he realizes the padding won't allow him to stay on the bench or easily work the foot pedals. LITTLE KNOWN FACT: Elton got hit in the face with an empty wine bottle, thrown by an enebriated fan. Later, he said, "It was my own fault really. Someone tried to warn me, but I ignored it: 'Duck!' they yelled" Ultimately, he continued performing like a champ and it didn't stop him from turning out a memorable rendition of "Your Song".
