This may be a re-do down the road but it's all I got for now. Song is by The Charlie Daniels band and I actually did see him perform at one of those outdoor weekend concerts with several other groups. You know the ones....out in some farmer's field, bring a tent, more booze than what you could ever drink in two days and maybe a bit of food. ⁣Released in 1979 this song was the band's biggest hit, reaching No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Let's have a thumbs up and a subscribe as this song is super fast and super hard (for me) 😎

This is one of those classic songs that gives you all the feels. As I was reading through the lyrics and trying to sing it, it was tough to get through without shedding a tear. It's one of those songs that has meant a lot to my family over the years, and I hope it makes you feel something too.

⁣John Lennon himself believed that Hey Jude was directed at him, seeing it as a message from McCartney to embrace his relationship with Yoko Ono. Lennon even pointed to specific lines in the song, such as “You were made to go out and get her,” as evidence of McCartney's support for his new love interest.
This was my father's favorite song. It was always crystal clear he was singing it with my mother in mind. Miss you daddy...😌

The lyric Stevie Nicks hates in Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Go Your Own Way’
Fleetwood Mac remain one of the most beloved bands of the classic rock era. The former couple of Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham found that while any break-up is difficult, it’s even harder when you remain in a band with your former lover.

Both artists wrote about the end of the relationship from their perspectives with devastating veracity.
While Nicks was the band’s principle songwriter, Buckingham also threw in his own barbs every so often and Nicks was particularly hurt by his creation, ‘Go Your Own Way’.

Nicks wrote about the breakdown of the relationship in ‘Silver Springs’, which she later said was penned with the intention of haunting Buckingham.
Meanwhile, Buckingham penned ‘Go Your Own Way’, which greatly upset Nicks as it alluded to her promiscuousness. “I very much resented him telling the world that ‘packing up, shacking up’ with different men was all I wanted to do. He knew it wasn’t true. It was just an angry thing that he said,” she told Rolling Stone (via Society of Rock).
Stevie Nicks is my top Pandora station! I was dead center, 3rd row, for her performance in concert with Lindsay Buckingham and Christine Mcvie' in Portland, Oregon before Mcvie' passed away in 2022.

⁣On September 20, 1973, at the height of his popularity and the day before the lead single to his fifth album "I Got a Name " was released, Croce and five others died in a plane crash. His music continued to chart throughout the 1970s following his death. Croce's wife and early songwriting partner Ingrid, continued to write and record after his death, and their son A. J. Croce, became a singer-songwriter in the 1990s.

Haven't sang a slower song for awhile so here it is. Released in 2006, singer Chad Kroeger said it is the only love song Nickelback has. Others are "about love" but not solely about being in love.It was their 4th song on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #8. Being that I was a Wildland Firefighter, the video pulls at my heart strings as it's about a forest fire fighter being called out to a fire. I loved that job! This is definitely the most "unique" version of Little Drummer Boy I have ever heard. Unfortunately the classic version stops about 2 minutes in so went with this was one of my favorite holiday songs when I was a kid. I certainly didn't expect to break out dancing during it.
