This song was released in 1987 for the movie soundtrack for "Beverly Hills Cop II" starring Eddie Murphy. It reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, Album Rock Tracks chart and the RPM 100 Singles chart. It was nominated for both an Academy and Golden Globe Award for best original song but lost to "The Time of My Life" from the movie Dirty Dancing for both awards.
