One of the all time great tunes from Elton John. Definitely outside of my typical vocal range, but it was fun giving it a shot! There's not much better than the scene from the movie "Almost Famous" where the band, along with Penny Lane and the kid journalist, sing this tune on the bus! Good times!

Just a good ol' southern rock / country tune by Marshall Tucker Band
Not an easy song to sing but love the classic rock music so I sang it anyway. I believe @Tappet2 was the first to sing it on Bee Mee.There are several versions of this song, going as far back as 1933 (maybe earlier) when it was used as a work song but it is most associated with Ram Jam. Released by them in 1979, it was a hit in several countries and used in many movie and TV shows including "Family Guy". Like, comment & subscribe for your Buzz Points. Lots of cool info about this song so keep reading. Guitarist, Canadian artist, Tom Cochrane, wrote the song over concern for the resurgence of anti-semitism in the 1970's. He recorded the first demo on the evening of John Lennon's murder (RIP). The single was released in 1981 despite advice from the record label that it wasn't commercial enough. It reached #11 on the rock radio airplay chart in Billboard and won a SOCAN Classic Award (Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) in 2009. It was re-recorded in 1997 and was #1 for 4 weeks on the RPM Top 100 Chart. The song has been used in several movies and TV shows such as Miami Vice. So, we were challenged to have a little contest to sing Proud Mary before Thursday's AMA. We had a choice of doing the CCR or Ike & Tina Turner version. Well, for me, I considered a third version......the Skee Version. Did this for fun so have fun as I could only do one take and destroyed my vocal chords so no re-do's. I was originally going to make this video private, however, others seemed to have liked it so I will leave it public. Thanks to everyone who enjoyed it and wanted me to leave it up. 😎
This classic Tom Petty song has always had such a great groove!
Here's my take on CCR version of Proud Mary. I went low with it :) I'm sure somebody on here has that awesome higher range that John Fogerty can hit! Really looking forward to hearing some people give the Tina Turner version a go! Cheers

If you are watching these songs in order this is number two of seven that I did today. Very addicting. Might of been a little brave on this one lol but it's a great song and had to try it again. To busy playing with the dance and camera features and didn't focus on singing. Pretty cool for the Beta...not sure you will find Steppenwolf dancing like this though.
