This song represents exactly what the 80's was like. Every school dance and every bar played this song. In addition to great 80's music there was always a fight or two at some point. However, there were no knives, no guns, no kicking a guy repeatedly when he was down or going and rounding up your buddies if you lost. If a guy said he gives, you stopped, helped him up and went and had a beer together. The song was released in 1981 by Rockabilly group, the Stray Cats. It peaked at #9 on the both the singles charts and the Billboard Hot 100. It was also listed by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as one of the 500 songs that shaped Rock & Roll.
