I really liked the Beach Boys when I was younger (long before this song) and would ride my bike to the Library where you could get headsets and they would play whatever record you wanted to listen to. I eventually also really liked windsurfing and would go whenever I could. This song came out in 1988, ⁣24 years after their first No. 1. The Beach Boys scored, what is to date, their last U.S. No. 1. The song, “Kokomo,” which was used in the Tom Cruise movie Cocktail.
