An early Tim McGraw song and still one of my favorites. Released in 1994, it was his breakthrough song and first top 40. It peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart, #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified Platinum. Some critics have considered it a controversial song due to it's stereotypical portrayal of Native Americans and some radio stations refused to play it. I just really like the song.
