Canadian singer/songwriter, Daniel Powter, first recorded this song in 2002 but was unable to find a label to release it. It was first used in a French Coca Cola Christmas TV ad in 2004 & was officially released in 2005 when the CEO of Warner Bros. Records heard a demo and offered Powter a contract. The song charted in the top 5 in over 10 countries and in the top 10 in over 30 charts worldwide. It was the most played song on European radio, #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, Pop 100, Adult Top 40, Adult Contemporary charts & was certified 3X Platinum. It was the first song ever to sell 2 million digital copies in the US and was the Billboard most popular song of 2006. Nobody panic! I'm not having a stroke in this video. I raised my set up so I can stand and sing and I guess I was grooving a little too fast lol. English-Canadian singer, Nick Gilder, released this song in 1978. It went #1 in Canada & the US Billboard Hot 100 taking a record 21 weeks to reach the top. He had also had a previous #1 with "Roxy Roller" as the lead singer of "Sweeney Todd". He won 2 Juno Awards, a Peoples Choice Award & this song went Platinum. @Ghstryder first sang this and it inspired me to try it. Not the best choice for today's warm up song lol. First released by The Tokens in 1961 (Neil Sedaka was a band member) it was their most succesful song, reaching #1 on the Billboard 100 Most people recognize it from the movie, "The Lion King" in 2019, and has been re-recorded by several artists. "Make It with You" is a song written by David Gates and originally recorded by American pop-rock group Bread, of which Gates was a member. Gates and drummer Mike Botts are the only members of the group to appear on the recording,[3] which was Bread's only No.1 hit on the BillboardHot 100 chart in 1970.

Another classic Brooks & Dunn song. This is about as high as my voice goes :)

An absolute classic from Garth Brooks. I think this may have been the very first song I ever got up and sang on stage. In the early days it took some convincing, but my friends eventually got me up there!

Joe Cocker is a one of kind! I don't think I've ever sang this song all the way through before in my life, so in this recording you're taking the journey with me :) There were some laughs, and many a flubbed note, but man...this one is a lot of fun!

I'm far from being the best one to be singing this song, however, I did love the sitcom "Friends". So sad now that Mathew Perry has passed. "Could this song have BEEN any harder"? Give a thumbs up if you liked the show Friends and for the talent we lost that was Mathew Perry.

Thought we should have an EDM category as I have done a few EDM songs & the other genres didn't seem quite right. Big thanks to EDM artist @Bell_Aire for making it happen. Practised this song on and off for weeks lol. Redfoo released this song in 2013. It debuted #1 on the Australian Singles Chart and went 4X Platinum. Redfoo is also part of the duo LMFAO. Song was written & produced by himself and has been used in Professional Wrestling, MTV Promos and more. Redfoo was also a judge for the 5th season of X Factor Australia. Lot's to say about this song. The lyrics are a bit outdated & Bee Mee is venturing in to new frontiers so I changed a line in the song. Also, there are long music interludes so I added some extra sound effects. I don't remember the song having a Jamaican reggae/rap portion either...I did my best lol. Released on the band's debut album in 1988, it reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making the group the only British artist to have a #1 hit in the US while never charting in the UK. The song was a reflection of living in the 80's with yuppies getting rich quick, fear of the Cold War & AIDS. The "Ronnie" in the song was a reference to Ronald Reagan. The video was banned from British Television & The Florida Sun Sentinel claimed it was due to sexism but the band said that it was "designed to make fun of the overly sexist promo videos of the era". I've done a few 3 Doors Down songs...I think this was the hardest (so far). It was released in 2002 and peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 & claiming the 5th spot for the year end chart. It also spent 17 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks becoming one of the longest running #1 songs on that chart. It came close to reaching #1 on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks but peaked at #2. It also charted in the top 5 of several other charts.
