"Eleanor Rigby" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1966 album Revolver. It was also issued on a double A-side single, paired with "Yellow Submarine". Credited to the Lennon鈥揗cCartneysongwriting partnership, the song is one of only a few in which John Lennon and Paul McCartney later disputed primary authorship.[3]Eyewitness testimony from several independent sources, including George Martin and Pete Shotton, supports McCartney's claim to authorship.

"At Seventeen" is a song by American singer-songwriter Janis Ianfrom her seventh studio album Between the Lines. Columbia released it in July 1975 as the album's second single. Ian wrote the lyrics on the basis of a New York Times article and used a samba instrumental, and Brooks Arthur produced the final version. A pop and soft rock ballad, the song is about a social outcast in high school. Critics have regarded "At Seventeen" as a type of anthem. Despite her initial reluctance to perform the single live, Ian promoted it at various appearances and it has been included on compilation and live albums.

In April 1968, it topped the pop chart in the United Kingdom,[3] but performed poorly in the United States because Larry Newton, the president of ABC Records, disliked the song and refused to promote it.

Classic tune from Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR). Love hearing "Long as I can see the light" every time it comes on the radio or any playlist.

One of the great Waylon Jennings songs, and it's awesome that Willie Nelson makes an appearance on this one too.

Heard the Nickelback cover during one of the playoff hockey games and was glad it was in the song library. So this is an Elton John/Nickelback hybrid lol. Elton John released this song in 1973 & Nickelback released their cover (with Dimebag Darell & Kidd Rock) in 2003. Elton Jon & Nickelback have both had unbelievable careers so check them out if you want more info. The song just abruptly ends for some reason. Haven't sang a slower song for awhile so here it is. Released in 2006, singer Chad Kroeger said it is the only love song Nickelback has. Others are "about love" but not solely about being in love.It was their 4th song on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #8. Being that I was a Wildland Firefighter, the video pulls at my heart strings as it's about a forest fire fighter being called out to a fire. I loved that job! This song ranked high on charts around the world. Like, comment & subscribe for your Buzz Points.
