So here is the second option for the current contest. Let's get more people participating. If I can do it....so can you!. I should have sung this song before "Hey Jude" as it is a lot easier on the vocal chords ha ha ha. Listen to the ending of "Hey Jude" and you will know what I mean. Released in 2002, this power ballad by Creed is about reflecting on past mistakes and seeking comfort from friends who want to help. Lead vocalist, Scott Stapp also said it fit exactly where he personally was at in both mind & spirit and it was their biggest hit. It reached #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 becoming their 4th top 10 hit. It reached #5 on the Mainstream Rock chart & Billboard Hot 100 Airplay charts, #4 on the Mainstream Top 40 & #2 on the Adult Top 40 chart. It also had the most views on YouTube out of all their songs. My avatar, is in her gingerbread PJ's, singing Tennesse Whiskey with her charismatic confidence. She weaves through the soulful lyrics, effortlessly blending classic country with a touch of robotic coolness dancing and swaying to the rhythm, lost in the mesmerizing fusion of old-school heartache and high-tech pizzazz.

This song seems to suit the current state the world is in now as it's about celebrity on a political level. It was released in 1988 and regularly makes "100 Greatest Songs Ever Written" lists. The group won Grammy Awards for Best Hard Rock song and the MTV Video won awards for Best Group & Best New Artist. The band is also unique in that all of its members were black in a Hard Rock genre that was dominated by white musicians. The song was a huge success and the story behind it is fascinating so check it out for yourself. This Indie, Pop-rock song was released in 1999 and was a hit follow-up to the band's international hit "All Star" (which I have also sang). It peaked at #11 on the US Billboard 100, #2 on both the US Adult Pop Airplay chart & Canada Top Singles charts, #3 on the US Adult Top 40 Year End chart, #12 on US Adult Alternative chart and #5 on the US Pop Airplay chart. It definitely is a fun, upbeat song to listen to. Make sure you like, comment & subscribe for those valuable Buzz Points. I've done a few 3 Doors Down songs...I think this was the hardest (so far). It was released in 2002 and peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 & claiming the 5th spot for the year end chart. It also spent 17 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks becoming one of the longest running #1 songs on that chart. It came close to reaching #1 on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks but peaked at #2. It also charted in the top 5 of several other charts. Nobody panic! I'm not having a stroke in this video. I raised my set up so I can stand and sing and I guess I was grooving a little too fast lol. English-Canadian singer, Nick Gilder, released this song in 1978. It went #1 in Canada & the US Billboard Hot 100 taking a record 21 weeks to reach the top. He had also had a previous #1 with "Roxy Roller" as the lead singer of "Sweeney Todd". He won 2 Juno Awards, a Peoples Choice Award & this song went Platinum.
