"Eleanor Rigby" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1966 album Revolver. It was also issued on a double A-side single, paired with "Yellow Submarine". Credited to the Lennon鈥揗cCartneysongwriting partnership, the song is one of only a few in which John Lennon and Paul McCartney later disputed primary authorship.[3]Eyewitness testimony from several independent sources, including George Martin and Pete Shotton, supports McCartney's claim to authorship.

"At Seventeen" is a song by American singer-songwriter Janis Ianfrom her seventh studio album Between the Lines. Columbia released it in July 1975 as the album's second single. Ian wrote the lyrics on the basis of a New York Times article and used a samba instrumental, and Brooks Arthur produced the final version. A pop and soft rock ballad, the song is about a social outcast in high school. Critics have regarded "At Seventeen" as a type of anthem. Despite her initial reluctance to perform the single live, Ian promoted it at various appearances and it has been included on compilation and live albums.

"What a Wonderful World" is a song written by Bob Thiele (as "George Douglas") and George David Weiss. It was first recorded by Louis Armstrongand released in 1967 as a single. In April 1968, it topped the pop chart in the United Kingdom,[3] but performed poorly in the United States because Larry Newton, the president of ABC Records, disliked the song and refused to promote it.

So here is the second option for the current contest. Let's get more people participating. If I can do it....so can you!. I should have sung this song before "Hey Jude" as it is a lot easier on the vocal chords ha ha ha. Listen to the ending of "Hey Jude" and you will know what I mean. My avatar, is in her gingerbread PJ's, singing Tennesse Whiskey with her charismatic confidence. She weaves through the soulful lyrics, effortlessly blending classic country with a touch of robotic coolness dancing and swaying to the rhythm, lost in the mesmerizing fusion of old-school heartache and high-tech pizzazz.

This song seems to suit the current state the world is in now as it's about celebrity on a political level. It was released in 1988 and regularly makes "100 Greatest Songs Ever Written" lists. The group won Grammy Awards for Best Hard Rock song and the MTV Video won awards for Best Group & Best New Artist. The band is also unique in that all of its members were black in a Hard Rock genre that was dominated by white musicians. The song was a huge success and the story behind it is fascinating so check it out for yourself.
