First, Happy Birthday to Harry Styles and second a big shout out to Cara for creating that music schedule for this month. What a great way to torture us....err, I mean expose us to new music and to encourage us to push our singing skills. I have never heard of Harry or listened to this song before and can definitely not sing like him. I picked this song because after a decade of being a forest fire fighter, I have, could and would "walk through fire". Listen and you will understand lol. Hope you like it and don't forget to like, comment and subscribe. 馃槑 Not sure what category to put this in as according to Wikipedia it is funk, disco, rock ballad, psychedelic pop and more. It also was #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and in the top ten on charts all over the world. I think I will just put in "Other" and let the listener decide.

Here is another fun Classic Rock-Folk song by Jim Croce (RIP) so take a trip back to 8-track days and sing along. This song was released in 1973 which spent 2 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was ranked the #2 song of the year. Jim had a lot of great songs but this was his only #1 single and was nominated for two Grammy Awards. I lost my voice briefly a couple times recording this so I guess the mic is getting turned off for the night. Sing along, have fun and don't forget to like, comment and subscribe. 馃槑

OMG this is hands down one of the MOST FUN songs I have ever sang. Never heard this song before, practiced it a few times and this was the first take. I NEED YOUR HELP as I can't decide if I should try again. It was absolutely insane changing dances, working the cameras and singing this for the first time that I'm thinking it won't get much better than this. PLEASE let me know if I should try again by leaving me a comment, good or bad. This song was released in 2009 and became Dierks seventh #1 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. Really can't believe I have never heard this song until now. Again, PLEASE like, subscribe and leave me a comment whether or not I should take another go at it. 馃槑

Here's my take on CCR version of Proud Mary. I went low with it :) I'm sure somebody on here has that awesome higher range that John Fogerty can hit! Really looking forward to hearing some people give the Tina Turner version a go! Cheers

This "power ballad" was released by 3 Doors Down in 2003 and it reached #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was in the top ten charts all over the world and was certified double platinum in the USA for selling over 2 million copies. I just think it is a great song by a great band. Ok, so here's the story. In the early 80's I was part of a 3 man Breakdance crew (Soul System Crew). We performed a lot and even got invited to the Alberta Summer Games to perform. There were very few songs with a good enough beat to breakdance to back then so this was one we used a lot. I did this song mostly for posterity and history's sake (I did do some free stylin' at about 3:15 during the break). The song is about the injustices of the time and the end of the song is how the band get's arrested for no just reason. This was also when rap was just beginning and this band took rap music from the house parties to the social platforms of the time, later developed by Public Enemy and KRS-One. It was #51 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Hits of All Time which was the highest of any eighties release and was the highest ranking Hip Hop song. By 2012 it was the highest ranked Hip Hop song of all time. Not my best song but like I said, I did it to relive the memories. And you thought you were just going to listen to a song lol. That's definitely worth a like, comment and scubscribe. 馃槑
